About the Hotel
Keswick Bridge sits on Brundholme Road beside the River Greta, on the northern edge of Keswick town centre in the heart of the Lake District. The location is well placed for walkers: the riverside path leads directly into town and on to the Derwentwater lakeshore, while the slopes of Skiddaw begin within half a mile of the property.
Keswick itself is one of the Lake District's principal market towns, combining Victorian architecture, independent shops, and straightforward access to some of Cumbria's best-known landscapes. Castlerigg Stone Circle, one of Britain's most complete Neolithic monuments at 4,500 years old, stands on a plateau two miles east. Borrowdale valley and Honister Pass, Whinlatter Forest, and the Theatre by the Lake all lie within a short drive, while Catbells fell offers a classic ridge walk visible from the town.
