Sonnenalp Hotel Vail

Sonnenalp Hotel is a Bavarian family-owned European alpine property at the heart of Vail Village, a 4-minute walk from the ski lifts at 8,150 feet elevation. The spa stands out for its authentic Finnish sauna (explicitly named as such) with cold plunge pool — a rare feature among Colorado mountain hotels. Turkish steam room, oxygen relaxation lounge for altitude acclimatization, tsunami showers, whirlpools, and a fireplace relaxation cove complete the circuit. Michelin Guide recognized. Leading Hotels of the World member.
