CASCADA Thermal Springs + Hotel is Portland's only hotel with an integrated underground hydrothermal spa, opened in 2025 in the Alberta Arts District. The subterranean 'Sanctuary' features multiple mineral vitality pools at different temperatures, cold plunge, dry sauna, steam room, and ice — all underground. Silent lounge rules enforced. Hotel guests receive discounted access; 3-hour public sessions run ~$100. LEED Platinum certified mass-timber construction.
