AKA University City

AKA University City features an electric sauna as part of its health club, offering guests a welcoming and restorative wellness space in the heart of Philadelphia. The sauna is publicly accessible, making it easy for hotel guests to drop in and unwind without the need for a dedicated treatment booking. Combined with the property's indoor pool and health club facilities, it forms a well-rounded foundation for daily wellbeing. The broader wellness offering at AKA University City extends well beyond the sauna itself. Guests can complement their sauna session with a swim in the indoor pool, take part in scheduled fitness or yoga classes, or simply decompress in the relaxation spaces the property provides. A recommended rhythm might be a sauna warm-up followed by a cool shower and a restorative stretch — a simple but effective ritual that fits naturally into the hotel's active lifestyle ethos. The rooftop garden and terrace add a further dimension, offering fresh air and an elevated perspective over the surrounding neighbourhood. AKA University City is a considered choice for anyone looking to restore balance during a stay in Philadelphia. The combination of sauna access, group wellness classes, and thoughtfully designed communal spaces makes this University City address a genuine urban retreat.
