Woodside Ranch Resort has operated as a working guest ranch in the Driftless Area of central Wisconsin since 1929 — one of the oldest continuously operating dude ranches in the Midwest. The sauna is central to the ranch's recovery culture, serving horseback riders, hikers, and families who come for the specific character of the Driftless landscape: the only region in Wisconsin not flattened by glaciers, producing an unexpectedly rugged terrain of bluffs, coulees, and spring-fed streams.
