Desert Hot Springs sits directly above the Miracle Hill Fault, where cool freshwater aquifer meets geothermal heat to produce mineral-rich hot spring water that has drawn therapeutic visitors for over a century. The Spring Resort & Spa is the area's most design-forward property, featuring a wood-fired Finnish cedar sauna alongside six natural hot mineral pools at different temperatures — a full thermotherapy circuit.
