About
Camp Denali is arguably Alaska's most iconic wilderness lodge — a place that has defined how to experience Denali National Park with integrity and depth since 1952. Located at Mile 89 of the Park Road, accessible only by the park's transit bus system (private vehicles are prohibited beyond Mile 15), Camp Denali offers direct, unobstructed views of Denali — all 20,310 feet of North America's highest peak — from the lodge deck and from many of the hand-built log cabins. The wood-fired banya (Russian steam bath) and cold plunge are central to the camp's wellness philosophy, providing warmth and restoration after days of wildlife viewing, hiking, and canoeing on Wonder Lake. Expert naturalists guide every activity. A stay at Camp Denali is not a luxury hotel experience in the conventional sense — it is a transformative encounter with wilderness at its most profound.
