Palmquist Farm

Palmquist Farm in Brantwood was homesteaded by Finnish immigrants in 1902 and has been a working farm and guest lodge ever since. The original Finnish sauna from the homestead era is still operational and wood-fired. This is one of the most authentic Finnish-American sauna heritage experiences on the continent. Traditional Finnish sauna ritual, farm animals, home-cooked Finnish meals, cross-country skiing, and horseback riding on 800 acres of Wisconsin northwoods. A living piece of Finnish immigrant history.
