Point Hotel Taksim

Point Hotel Taksim puts a proper sauna within a minute's walk of one of Istanbul's liveliest squares. The hotel's electrically heated sauna is open to guests on a communal basis, offering a pocket of stillness that feels all the more valuable for how close the energy of Taksim hums outside. Use the sauna to bracket your days. A morning session wakes the body gently before the city takes over; an evening one dissolves whatever the day left behind. Between rounds, cool off with a shower and rest until your breathing settles. Guests can also take advantage of access to a nearby indoor pool, adding a swim to the warm-cool rhythm whenever it suits. Practicalities such as air conditioning and 24-hour security are quietly handled in the background. For travellers basing themselves at the centre of modern Istanbul, Point Hotel Taksim offers a rare pairing: the city's pulse on the doorstep and a sauna ritual waiting upstairs. Step out into Taksim energised — and come back to warmth.
