Best Western Strand Hotel Visby

Best Western Strand Hotel is a charming boutique hotel inside Visby's medieval city walls — on Strandgatan, between Almedalen and the harbour. The 110 rooms are each individually decorated, with stylings that run from classic Scandinavian to more contemporary design. The wellness area includes a sauna and a steam bath for unwinding after a day in the old town. The rooftop terrace is the hotel's signature feature — the breakfast buffet is served up there with views over the sea, the medieval city, and the property's own green garden, which is a memorable way to start the day. The hotel adds a restaurant, a bar, and an indoor courtyard. The position at the heart of Visby's old town makes exploring both the historic sights and the harbour easy on foot — a strong pick for travelers chasing the UNESCO-listed medieval atmosphere.
