Thon Hotel Bristol Oslo

Thon Hotel Bristol Oslo runs what is arguably the most complete hotel spa in Norway — Bristol Spa, a three-floor wellness destination inside a landmark hotel in central Oslo. The spa offers a classic Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a snow room, hot and cold plunge pools, a Moorish-inspired pool, a rainwalk shower, a hammam-style rhassoul, and massage treatment rooms. This is a rare case of a hotel sauna that genuinely rivals a destination spa. Bristol Spa operates with an 18+ age policy so visitors can focus on rest and immersion without family distractions. Hotel guests get complimentary access as part of their stay, and the spa is also open to external visitors — a rare perk in Oslo's hotel sauna scene. The combination of classic and infrared saunas is particularly unusual in Norway, and the snow room gives you a distinctive contrast-bathing option between rounds. Thon Hotel Bristol Oslo is the top pick in Oslo for travelers who want a serious sauna ritual inside a classic city-center hotel.
