Strand Hotel Fevik

Strand Hotel Fevik sits directly on a private beach near Grimstad on Norway's Sørlandet coast, and runs one of the most ambitious sauna setups in the region: a sauna, a steam room, an indoor jacuzzi, an outdoor jacuzzi, and direct access to sea bathing year-round. This is the rare hotel where you can sweat in a Finnish sauna, plunge into the actual North Sea for the cold contrast, and end on the beachfront terrace. The sauna at Strand Hotel Fevik is part of a complete coastal wellness loop. The outdoor jacuzzi is the standout feature — almost no other Sørlandet hotel offers an outdoor hot soak with a beach view. Roald Dahl was a regular guest here for over 30 years, which gives the historic setting an extra layer. The hotel is part of the Classic Norway Hotels collection. Strand Hotel Fevik is the Sørlandet choice for travelers who want a real seaside sauna experience between Grimstad and Arendal, with sea bathing built into the rhythm.
