About the Hotel
Hotel Livigno, established in 1912, is one of the oldest and most characterful hotels in this Lombardy alpine resort. Set on Via Ostaria in the heart of Livigno, the hotel combines historic Beaux-Arts architecture with sauna facilities, a restaurant, bar, and a terrace overlooking the valley at 1,816 metres on the Italian-Swiss border.
The hotel arranges ski passes and has ski storage on-site, with the Carosello 3000 and Mottolino ski areas — host to the 2026 Winter Olympics freestyle and snowboard events — within easy reach. Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and hiking and fishing near Lake Livigno are all accessible from the hotel. Buffet breakfast is served each morning, and the library and common areas reflect the property's century-long history in one of the Alps' most distinctive duty-free destinations.
