Hotel Pagoda occupies a peaceful garden setting in Serrara Fontana, a hilltop commune in the heart of Ischia commanding some of the island's finest views over the south coast and the Bay of Naples. This quieter corner of the island offers the volcanic spa experience away from the bustle of the main ports, with the thermal parks of Sant'Angelo within easy reach – including the natural hot springs on Maronti Beach where the volcanic heat rises directly through the sand. The rugged paths of Monte Epomeo (789 m) begin nearby, leading past tufa-rock hermitages carved by medieval monks to panoramic viewpoints over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
