About the Hotel
Trulli Holiday Albergo Diffuso is a rare example of a working albergo diffuso — a 'scattered hotel' — set across ten historic trullo buildings in the heart of Alberobello. The structures date from 1600 and are concentrated in the town's two UNESCO-listed districts, Rione Monti and Rione Aia Piccola, meaning guests truly sleep inside the World Heritage Site rather than merely adjacent to it. The property holds strong sustainability credentials: organic food, vegan and vegetarian menus, zero-plastic policy, a local artist showcase, and a commitment to reinvesting profits in community projects and local culture education.
Breakfast uses organic and locally sourced ingredients. The concierge team arranges Segway tours, bicycle hire, beach shuttles to the Adriatic coast, and locally organised walks through the Itria Valley countryside to the 'white towns' of Locorotondo, Martina Franca, and Cisternino. Horse riding is bookable nearby.
