Smithe House

Smithe House brings a contemporary sauna experience to the heart of Vancouver, with an electric sauna available for all guests on a public-access basis. Opened in 2024, this modern property pairs its sauna offering with a fully equipped fitness centre, making it a natural choice for guests who want to weave wellness into their stay. The sauna is openly accessible, welcoming both hotel guests and visitors looking to unwind in clean, purpose-built surroundings. The wider Smithe House amenity offering is thoughtfully matched to Vancouver's active lifestyle. After a sauna session, guests can cool down, rest, and then step outside to explore the city's remarkable outdoors — from kayaking and hiking trails to mountain biking routes, all easily accessible from the property. Back inside, the hotel's concierge team is on hand to help plan your next adventure or simply point you toward the best local spots. The building's 2024 construction means every detail, from the hardwood-floored public areas to the wide wheelchair-accessible elevators, reflects current comfort standards. Smithee House is an ideal base for anyone looking to recharge and restore in Vancouver. Whether you're returning from a day on the water or the trails, the sauna ritual here offers a grounding close to each day — a genuine wellness anchor in one of Canada's most energising cities.
