Hoteller med badstue på rommet i Helsinki (guide 2026)
In-room sauna is the Finnish hospitality signature — Helsinki has more hotels offering this than anywhere else in the world. Lapland Hotels Bulevardi includes a sauna in most rooms; Hotel St. George, Hotel Kämp, Clarion Hotel Helsinki and Hotel Maria all sell sauna-suite room types where the sauna sits inside the suite itself. Expect a compact electric sauna (1–4 people, 30–60 minutes to heat) accessed via your room key. Premium for the room type is typically €80–250/night above standard.

Are in-room saunas in Helsinki always electric?
Yes — wood-fired saunas inside a city hotel room are effectively never permitted under Finnish fire and ventilation codes. Expect a small electric sauna with a separate löyly bucket; the löyly stones are real.
