Scandic Parken Ålesund

Scandic Parken sits at the heart of Ålesund, with panoramic views over the mountains Aksla and Sukkertoppen. The hotel has 138 rooms in Art Nouveau-inspired design, and it's one of the city's most popular business and leisure properties. The wellness floor includes a traditional sauna and a modern fitness studio open to all guests. The sauna and upper floors look out over Ålesund's Art Nouveau harbour and the surrounding mountains — a genuinely good view to fold into a sauna session. The hotel adds a fireplace lounge, the Polarbjørn restaurant with sea views, and a generous breakfast buffet. The position within walking distance of Brosundet canal and the Jugendstilsenteret museum makes Scandic Parken a strong central base for exploring Ålesund's Art Nouveau heart and the surrounding fjord landscape.
