Scandic Visby

Scandic Visby sits just outside Visby's medieval city walls, within walking distance of both the old town and the ferry terminal. The 161 rooms are designed in modern Scandinavian style, with many looking out over the sea or the medieval city. Carma Spa is the hotel's wellness floor, offering a sauna, treatment rooms, and a broad menu of facial and body treatments. The well-equipped fitness studio is open to all guests for those keeping active during their stay. The hotel runs a restaurant with a focus on Gotland ingredients, a bar, and a lobby with a fireplace. The position by the ferry terminal makes the hotel a practical base for getting to and from Gotland, and it's still just a short walk from the old town's sights — a useful combination for travelers who want both arrival logistics and old-town atmosphere.
